Context:

For nine years, Fashion, Art and International Co-operation gather around a common goal: to support UNICEF.

This year the event takes place at the Petit Palais, from 28 November to 4 December 2011 and will be auctioned on 13 December at Drouot.

UNICEF asked world famous designers to create 53 dolls around the theme: "Nature, promise of beauty". The purpose of the campaign is to raise funds for the children in Darfur.

The annual event raises over one million euros for full immunization programs in Darfur.

Call to Video makers:

Userfarm is collaborating with Unicef to support the cause with a series of videos about “nature, promise of beauty”.

We need videomakers to produce a video by drawing inspiration from the pictures of beautiful natural scenarios associated with the dolls, which you’ll find attached to this call.

Brief:

Create a video by taking inspiration from one of the pictures of the designer dolls and their natural background. We’d like you to use the theme of "nature, promise of beauty" by showing the beauty of nature in an original and playful way, like it has been done with the dolls. Use one of the dolls and the concept of nature as your inspiration.

Reward:

The selected video makers will receive two invites for the opening night on 28 November.  Unicef will promote and display the selected videos on the night. The prize includes one night’s accommodation in Paris on 28 November and a maximum of £400 towards travel to attend the event.

We will choose four videos, one from a video maker from each country Spain, Italy, France, and Europe.

Unicef will reward the selected video makers by promoting their name and credits on all of their communication material related to the event. Unicef will display the selected videos on their website, Facebook pages, YouTube, Dailymotion and partner sites

Format:

Guidelines:

- Duration of video: between 30 seconds and 2 minutes.

- No dialogue allowed

- Use images and music royalty-free

- Insertion of two input screens: displays for the event + picture of the doll selected by Video maker. (download in the tools of the call for entries on the website….)

- Insertion of two output screens: video maker credits + screen "Make a donation, go to frimoussesdecreateurs.com" (also downloadable on the tools section on the website….)

- Entrants must be 18 years or over.
