Like every normal human being, day-to-day life can sometimes disrupt your serenity: the tap is leaking at the wrong time, your house keys have disappeared with the dog again, or you just forgot a tiny detail like your son’s lunch bag, or that it was party day at work, or that, when you are best man at a wedding, you need a pair of rings…

We’ve all known these moments that transform into glorious times when we manage to reverse the situation by reacting in a simple and efficient way.

And when you come across that perfect, oh so sophisticated person… don't they sound boring or fake?

So keep cool: keep it simple, and smart!

Show us that the most important reason to buy a Dacia car is because it looks just like you.

Yes, Dacia cars look like their clients: simple, honest, practical, without fuss…

Our clients like simple, affordable and efficient things… That focus on the essential, the 100% useful. They are honest, direct, respectful, generous, unselfish, resourceful, optimistic and spontaneous.

 

 

Call to action : Keep it simple and smart!

Each moment of their lives is an occasion to illustrate these values. These can be small moments in life (taking your children to school, going running, taking out the garbage, or at a work meeting, etc.) but also exceptional moments (Valentine’s day, New Year’s Eve, a wedding, the arrival of a child, moving home, a goal during a football game, etc.)

There are so many occasions to convey their way of life and their values. And these are the moments we would like you to find and illustrate. Whatever the situation you have to face…stay simple and efficient… Like Dacia cars.

Examples:

- You are the best man at a wedding and you forget the rings. You create them with what you have at hand and… The result is perfect!

- You arrive in a work suit at a fancy dress party. You find a way to make the best out of the situation and create a sensation!

- You walk out in your pyjamas to collect your mail, when all of a sudden the door closes. What do you do? 

 

The tap is leaking when your date is on her way to your home... You make it a nice fountain to welcome her!

Invent a funny or delicate situation and illustrate your solution in a simple, efficient and funny way!

You don’t have to show a Dacia car in your video – we’re looking for quite the opposite. We are looking for metaphorical storytelling, far from the automotive universe. The endboard will link your video to the brand. The goal is not to communicate a product, but a state of mind.

About the client : The automotive maker Dacia (Renault Group) has enjoyed 10 years of global commercial success, with more than 3 million vehicles sold. Tone & Style: humorous, surprising and outside-the-box! Be simple and go straight to the point. No complicated, pretentious or poetic tones. Please do not attack Dacia’s competitors (anyway we don’t talk about cars here). Don’t be condescending or arrogant.

 Until the end of the selection process (expected approximately by the first decade of May 2018), filmmakers shall not share online the submitted and approved videos unless previously duly authorized by Userfarm, subject to Renault Dacia approval.
