The mission of this project is to explore the meaning of “Bravo to you!” - unlocking the power of BRAVO and the positive domino effect it creates. Just think how one bit of positive feedback can generate something special, significant in one person’s life or in many - a domino effect.

Create a video to engage people with this concept. Create original stories where a BRAVO, given or received, makes a difference.

BACKGROUND

Barilla has just launched a campaign linked to the importance of positive feedback in life. 

Barilla believes that positive feedback is fuel for living and the encouragement we need to help us go further…but in our demanding world, it’s not always easy to show or receive appreciation.

The mission of this project is to explore the meaning of “Bravo to you!” - unlocking the power of BRAVO and the positive domino effect it creates.

There is a universe of actions, feelings, small and big gestures connected with a “BRAVO”. The power of positive feedback embraces our whole life, our old and new friends, colleagues, teammates, our family, which is wider and wider and includes such a diversity of people, attitudes and life styles, cultures.

Just think how one bit of positive feedback can generate something special, significant in one person’s life or in many - a domino effect.

And some BRAVOs are more meaningful than others…

     Who is the person whose BRAVO made you grow?

     When was the last time you’ve been told BRAVO?

     Who is the last person you said BRAVO to? How do you feel when someone says BRAVO to you?

     What is the best thing you did thanks to positive feedback?

     What is the best thing you got positive feedback for? What is the thing you really would like to receive a BRAVO for?

     And who from?

Create a video to engage people with this concept. Create original stories where a BRAVO, given or received, makes a difference.

Please note. This is not a commercial. You can choose to include the pasta or barilla brand in the video, but it is not a must have requirement.

A BRAVO IN EVERY VIDEO

There is one must-have: You must include a “BRAVO” in your video. It can be said, or written, but BRAVO must be in there somewhere.

GUIDELINES

Whilst no strict branding required, we can imagine that your video would come from Barilla. So keep in mind, Barilla is a modern, vibrant, elegant, appetising brand…its not about Italian clichés.

You’ll be provided with an end board.

TONE OF VOICE

Upbeat, optimistic, authentic, inspirational.

TARGET

Think about the contemporary idea of family, big and small, dad and daughter, a group of flatmates, your grandma still teaching you something now that you’re grown up... people connected to each other, for a short or long time, who care, help, motivate, boost each other to achieve and create something special.

COPYRIGHT

The video content MUST NOT show any other brand or branded / easily recognizable product. If present, they must be blurred.

Music: you must use a track from Userfarm library or an original unreleased one, created for your video.

Call launch date: 11/05/2016

Deadline for submission: 5th September 2016 at 4pm (CET)

REWARD - €40,000

1st: € 15,000

2nd : € 10,000

3rd : €3,000

4th-15th: €1,000

A special extra reward of €1,000 will be dedicated to a video selected from those submitted by students. Please always indicate your school in the description of the video.
